I dabbled in genealogy while I was still in high school, but I have been working on my genealogy in earnest (albeit in fits and starts) since around 1990, when my grandfather passed away and I inherited his research. My approach to my research has evolved exponentially since those days (read: I actually appear to know what I'm doing now), and I am currently enrolled in ProGen 24.
I
graduated Magna Cum Laude from Chattanooga State
Community College with an AAS in Paralegal Studies in 2011.
I work full-time in a small law firm in Chattanooga,
Tennessee. But my true passion is writing and research.
I am a regular contributor to the Chattanooga Delta Genealogy
Society's blog Off-Shoots and am the author of the
bi-monthly column Getting Started appearing in the
In-Depth Genealogist's digital magazine Going
In-Depth.
