Chattanooga Hamilton County Bicentennial Library (free)

John F. Kennedy Presidential Library & Museum (free)
Collects materials that relate to the life and times of John F. Kennedy. This includes textual documents, audiovisual items, and museum artifacts. The John F. Kennedy Library also houses the Ernest Hemingway Collection and John F. Kennedy and Robert F. Kennedy Oral History Programs.

Library and Archives Canada (free)
In 2004, the National Archives of Canada and the National Library of Canada were drawn together by the Library and Archives of Canada Act to create a new knowledge institution for Canadians—Library and Archives Canada, a source of enduring knowledge and the continuing memory of the government of Canada and its institutions.

Library of Congress (free)
The Library of Congress is the nation's oldest federal cultural institution and serves as the research arm of Congress. The Tennessee State Library and Archives (TSLA), collects and preserves books and records of historical, documentary and reference value, and promotes library and archival development throughout the state.

This collection at Cornell University Library is a digital library of primary sources in American social history from the antebellum period through reconstruction.

This collection at the University of Michigan was created in conjunction with Cornell University.

Mountain Press has over 2,000 volumes of genealogy materials such as census, marriage, birth, death, and will records. The majority of our information is for the southeastern states from Pennsylvania to Texas, with heaviest concentration of materials is in Tennessee and Virginia.
