Chattanooga Delta Genealogical Society ($)
Delta Genealogical Society is an Association of those interesed in the genealogy  and history of Northwest Georgia, Northeast Alabama and Southeast Tennessee.  Delta publishes "Southern Roots & Shoots" three times a year. Issues contain historical and genealogical data on Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee.  Membership is $15/year.

Hamilton County Tennessee Genealogical Society (free/$)
Provides a varity of services to help you in your research. Some of these services are free and others require a fee that helps to support the web site.  There are no group meetings.

East Tennessee Historical Society ($)
Since 1834 it has been telling the stories, collecting the artifacts, and recording the events that comprise the region’s colorful and unique history. A private, non-profit, regional organization, ETHS has 45 affiliate chapters and more than 2,000 members and subscribers. Its educational programming includes publications, a lecture series, and student and teacher programs.

Middle Tennessee Genealogical Society ($)
The Middle Tennessee Genealogical Society began in 1987. Its objectives are to stimulate interest in the study of genealogy and family history; to collect, preserve and make available to others genealogical information pertaining to Middle Tennessee; and to provide assistance to others in genealogical pursuits through all means available or developed by the Society.


Tennessee Genealogical Society ($)
The Tennessee Genealogical Society was founded in 1952 and chartered by the state in 1954. It is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization, completely staffed by volunteers. The society is presently located in the historic area of Old Germantown near Memphis, with offices and lecture room in the Germantown Regional History and Genealogy Center, which also houses the 14,000 volume library.

Tennessee Historical Society ($)
The Tennessee Historical Society is a non-profit, membership organization headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee. Established in 1849, the Society's purpose is to "promote interest in and preservation of all matters relating to the history of Tennessee."
